Portfolio Analyst
I was born and raised in Mineral Wells, Texas, a small town located about an hour west of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I spent my childhood with my nose stuck in books and listening to music, school was my life and every day I wanted to learn more. Mathematics had always been an interest of mine, but it was not until I reached high school, where I had a teacher who pushed me to join the Number Sense and Calculator UIL teams, that I realized I wanted to seriously pursue the field. For the last two years of high school, I also worked for Pratt & Garrett Law Firm and Society of Composers, Inc.
From the moment I stepped foot on the University of Florida’s campus during the summer before my senior year of high school, I knew it was where I wanted to attend college. University was as challenging as it was rewarding, and I graduated with my BA in Mathematics and a minor in Statistics in May of 2022. I stayed in Gainesville until the end of July to finish up some projects for the Department of History at UF, where I worked for two years.
Afterwards, I moved to Punta Gorda to be closer to some of my family. This is where I was fortunate enough to have found Landsberg Bennett and began my career as a portfolio analyst. I work closely alongside Jose to learn the ins and outs of the business as this is my first job in finance. I am excited to be a part of such a great company, everyone here has been so encouraging every day.
Outside of work I enjoy attending concerts with my friends, travelling, playing videogames and reading.
