My grandmother was the most significant influence in my life. She was a motivator who always pushed me to do my best. Both my parents worked hard to support my sisters and me. There were many times when I had to care for my younger sisters while my parents worked. I became independent and self-reliant at an early age.

After high school, I applied for a job at a local credit union. Art was always a passion of mine, but learning about the financial industry sparked my interest, persuading me to change paths and apply to Purdue University and earn a bachelor’s degree in financial counseling & planning, all the while working full-time and putting myself through college.

I love spending time with my family and still maintain my passion for art. I also enjoy traveling and endurance sports, and have done several 5Ks, triathlons, a Tough Mudder, and a 200-mile relay race. I am constantly challenging myself and looking for new adventures.
