Originally from Middletown, Delaware, I spent my high school career exploring a variety of interests. I majored in Accounting and was involved with the Business Professionals of America. I was also a counsel member of the Japanese club and was involved in a handful of plays. I decided to pursue my undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh where I double majored in English Literature and Japanese Language Studies.
Upon graduating, I flew across the world to Busan, South Korea to teach English as a foreign language to middle schoolers. It was scary, moving to a new country without knowing the language, but it was exciting as well! It was the first time jumping headfirst into a new adventure, but it certainly would not be the last. After my contract completed, I moved to Yamanashi, Japan to teach English to preschool-aged students. I spent three years in the countryside hiking mountains and viewing scenic lakes and then relocated to Tokyo, Japan. I was still teaching English to preschoolers but spent my free time traveling to unique restaurants and going to Tokyo Disneyland.
In 2019, I decided to move back to the States and settled in Punta Gorda, Florida where my father moved while I was away. I redirected my career and worked part-time at the Punta Gorda YMCA as well as an assistant manager at a local pet store. I also started pursuing my MBA at Florida Gulf Coast University where I am expecting to graduate in 2023. Eager to put my future degree to good use, I applied to Landsberg Bennett Private Wealth Management as an administrative associate. It has been a great adventure learning the ins and outs of wealth management and getting a chance to meet all our lovely clients. When you give us a call or stop by, I’ll be the first face you see! I am looking forward to learning as much as possible and getting the opportunity to grow with the company.
In my spare time I like to go to concerts, read and crochet. I also enjoy exploring all Southwest Florida has to offer: the food, the trails and the entertainment. I also try to go to Disney at least once a year.
